The Utah gymnastics team announced the signing of Virginia native Cammy Hall on Wednesday, putting the wraps on their 2018-19 recruiting class.

Hall, from Gainesville, Va., is the fourth signee of their class, joining November commits Cristal Isa, Adrienne Randall and Hunter Dula.

“We are really excited about Cammy’s decision to become a Ute,” Utah co-head coach Tom Farden said in a news release. “She was flying a bit under the radar when she caught our attention and has recently made great strides, especially on the leg events where she competes a vault that starts from a 10.0 and opens floor exercise with a sky-high double Arabian.”

Hall, who competes a Yurchenko one and a half vault, took first place on the event at the 2018 Fiesta Bowl National Qualifier while finishing second on beam, second in the all-around and third on floor. At the 2018 Excalibur Cup, she placed second in the all-around and third on vault and bars.

Hall posted three top-three finishes at the 2018 Virginia State Championships, placing second in the all-around, second on vault and third on floor. She was the state runner-up on vault and floor in 2017.
