Utah sophomore gymnast MyKayla Skinner earned her third Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week award Tuesday, giving her a conference-record 10 overall such honors. The previous record holder was UCLA’s Vanessa Zamarripa, who won the award nine times in her career from 2009 to 2013.
Skinner won the all-around (39.675), vault (9.9), bars (9.925), beam (9.9) and floor (9.95) in Utah’s 197.075-195.4 win over Arizona State on Friday. She ranks second in the all-around and has 17 individual wins this year.
Skinner and the Utes will b in action Sunday at second-ranked UCLA.
