Top 10 lists are all the rage these days, but former Utah gymnast Georgia Dabritz has made one that is pretty tough to get on.
Dabritz is being honored with an NCAA Today Top 10 Award, given to 10 NCAA athletes every year across all men's and women's sports. She joins gymnast Missy Marlowe (1993) and football specialist Louie Sakoda as one of three recipients in Utah history.
Dabritz was a 16-time all-American for Utah, winning the NCAA uneven bar championship last year as the Red Rocks finished second in the nation as a team. She was a team captain, a three-time team MVP, won six Pac-12 titles, and was national senior gymnast of the year.
She'll receive her award at the NCAA Convention on Jan. 15 in San Antonio.

Shifting gears for a second, we've covered Signing Day for men's basketball and gymnastics. Here's a round-up of who Utah has signed in other sports during the early signing period:
Women's basketball • Lynne Roberts signed 6-foot-1 wing Megan Jacobs from Bishop Gorman High School (Las Vegas, Nev.) and 5-foot-7 Kiana Moore from Vanden High School (Fairfield, Calif.). When Clemson transfer Daneesha Provo is eligible next season, Roberts anticipates the trio "will bring instant athleticism, depth and competitiveness to our roster."
Jacobs is a two-time all-state player for the Gaels, and averaged 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists per game. Moore is a two-time all-county and all-city player who averaged 13 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals per game while making 76 of her 3-point attempts.
Softball • Amy Hogue and the Utes have a No. 13 ranked recruiting class of four players: infielder BreOnna Castaneda from Rio Rancho High School (Rio Rancho, N.M.), pitcher Claire Feldman from Newsome High School (Lithia, Fla.), outfielder Alyssa Barrera from Bishop Amat (Chino Hills, Calif.), and catcher Kelly Martinez from Yucaipa High School (Yuaipa, Calif.).
The class is plenty decorated already in their prep careers. Castaneda was the New Mexico Gatorade player of the year this spring, batting .556 and leading Rio Rancho to consecutive state titles. Feldman pitched for state title-winning Newsome and was named all-state after throwing 260 strikeouts in 219 innings with a 1.18 ERA. Barrera is the No. 10 recruit in the country, batting .458 while being named first team all-state. Martinez is was her league's MVP last year, and was an all-state player while batting .595.
Baseball • The baseball team has yet to send out a press release as of Friday morning, but has tweeted to announce the signings of catcher Alex Isola from Jesuit High School (Carmichael, Calif.), pitcher Zach Trageton from Faith Lutheran High School (Las Vegas, Nev.), and pitcher Spencer Johnson from Syracuse High School.
