Jaylen Brown scored 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to help lead the Boston Celtics past the Philadelphia 76ers in the first game of Utah Summer League at the Huntsman Center on Monday.
The game came down to the wire. Rookie and third overall pick Jayson Tatum hit a clutch shot to give the Celtics their 89-88 win. Tatum finished with 21 points and dished out three assists.
For the 76ers, No. 1 draft pick Markelle Fultz led his team with 17 points. Timothe Luwawu-Caba had 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
