Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert will remain out for the next 7 to 10 days after an evaluation of his sprained knee Saturday morning, league sources tell The Salt Lake Tribune.
Gobert sprained the knee when teammate Derrick Favors fell into his leg during a win over the Boston Celtics last month. He’s been out for the past four weeks.
Gobert will continue light practice, according to sources. He began non-contact practice in the last few days.
The Jazz are 17-25 this season and miss Gobert’s defense at the rim and his screening and ability to finish on offense. The Jazz play three home games this week, beginning with the Indiana Pacers on Monday night.
