BYU, Fresno State agree to deal for ‘25, ‘27 football matchups

Provo • BYU is set to face an old Mountain West and WAC foe in a few years.
On Thursday, BYU and Fresno State announced a two-game football series for the 2025 and 2027 seasons.
Fresno State will host the first game in the home-and-home series at Bulldog Stadium in Fresno, Calif. on Nov. 8, 2025, with the return game scheduled at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Oct. 9, 2027.
The Cougars and Bulldogs have previously played 11 times in football, including five meetings as members of the WAC from 1992-98. Fresno State leads the overall series 6-5.
Kickoff times and broadcast plans for the two games will be announced at a later date.
