Weber State gets bounced from Big Sky tourney

Montana State rallied to beat the Wildcats on Monday.

The Weber State Wildcats fell to Montana State, 91-82, in the quarterfinals of the Big Sky tournament.

Dillon Jones, the conference’s MVP, scored 19 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Wildcats on Monday.

Weber led 34-25 at halftime, but was outscored 66-48 in the second half.

Montana State’s Robert Ford III scored a game-high 27 points. Junior Brian Goracke had 25 points.

Weber guard Blaise Threatt scored 20 points to go with 11 boards.
