Weekly Run podcast: Donovan Mitchell’s third-year jump, Rudy Gobert wants the ball more

(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell (45) makes a plan with teammates as the Utah Jazz host the Philadelphia 76ers in their NBA basketball game at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City on Wed. Nov. 6, 2019.

We’re two weeks in to the regular season. In fact, it’s already 10% complete.

On this week’s episode of the Weekly Run, Jazz beat writers Eric Walden and Andy Larsen talk about the Jazz’s rebounding woes, Donovan Mitchell’s third-year jump, and Rudy Gobert’s request for more touches. Then, we check in on how some of the new guys are doing: Mike Conley, Ed Davis, and Jeff Green. Tony Bradley’s not a new guy, but we haven’t seen a lot of him in a Jazz uniform until now; where is he at?

Here’s the rundown:

At 2:35: The rebounding went away for two games. How good will they be at the end of the year?

At 8:05: Donovan Mitchell, by some metrics has been the best player in the league this season. What has he done well?

At 15:05: Quick Mike Conley thoughts

At 16:45: Rudy Gobert wants the ball more?

At 26:15: Ed Davis’s early production

At 29:00: Tony Bradley stepping in

At 32:40: Jeff Green’s contributions off the bench
