It’s been a rough week for the Utah Jazz. Besides their 1-3 record in some winnable games, they’ve also found themselves in national turmoil, thanks to the verbal abuse from a fan directed at (and returned from) Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook.

While the episode was recorded before the Jazz banned fan Shane Keisel for life, Eric Walden and Andy Larsen discuss (for a set maximum of 10 minutes) the Russell Westbrook vs. fan interaction, and what it means for the Jazz.

Then, we get into basketball: what have we learned form the Jazz’s disappointing 1-3 stretch?

Finally, Dennis Lindsey was a guest on Adrian Wojnarowski’s podcast, and Eric shares what he learned.

Here’s the rundown:

At 0:30 • What do we think about the Russell Westbrook and Shane Keisel verbal altercation? How bad is this for the Jazz moving forward?

At 10:05 • The Jazz haven’t been very good recently? What have we learned about this team? Where is the offense right now?

At 16:00 • Why has the Jazz’s defense been so up and down?

At 21:05 • Where will the Jazz end up, seed-wise? Optimism is low.

At 24:30 • The balancing act between being effectively ruthless and considerate as an NBA general manager.
