Fletcher’s single leads Salt Lake Bees to 3-2 win over Fresno

Fresno, Calif. • David Fletcher hit a run-scoring single in the ninth inning, leading the Salt Lake Bees to a 3-2 win over the Fresno Grizzlies on Tuesday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Bees and a three-game winning streak for the Grizzlies.

Dustin Ackley scored on the play after he led off the inning with a single and advanced to third on a ground out by Eric Young Jr..

Kaleb Cowart hit an RBI single, scoring Juan Graterol in the third inning to give the Bees a 1-0 lead. The Grizzlies came back to take a 2-1 lead in the seventh inning when Tyler White hit an RBI single, driving in Antonio Nunez.

Salt Lake tied the game 2-2 in the eighth when Jabari Blash hit an RBI double, scoring Michael Hermosillo.

Adam Hofacket (5-0) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while James Hoyt (0-1) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game. Eduardo Paredes retired the side in order for his first save of the season.

Kyle Tucker doubled and singled, also stealing a base for the Grizzlies.
