The Salt Lake Tribune will have you covered in Pyeongchang

(Scott Sommerdorf | The Salt Lake Tribune) The Salt Lake Tribune's Christopher Kamrani, Aaron Falk and Chris Detrick pose for a portrait Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

The Winter Olympics open Friday night in Pyeongchang, and The Salt Lake Tribune will be there.

Tribune sports reporters Christopher Kamrani and Aaron Falk, and photographer Chris Detrick will all be on the ground in South Korea, not only to cover our large contingent of Utah-based athletes, but to follow the big developments as they occur and deliver stories that you simply won’t find anywhere else.

All three journalists are newspaper veterans.

This marks the third Olympics for Detrick, who has been at The Tribune since 2005. He covered the Beijing Summer Games in 2008 and the Sochi Winter Games in 2014.

Kamrani, who joined the Trib staff in 2010, is covering his second Olympics after going to the Rio de Janeiro Summer Games in 2016.

This will mark the Olympics debut for Falk, who also joined the Tribune in 2010.
