‘Mormon Land’: How Latter-day Saints celebrate Christmas — at church and at home

There are no midnight services. No liturgical edicts. No prescribed performances. But, yes, Mormons celebrate Christmas. How do they do it? Has it changed through the years? And might it be different tomorrow than it is today?

Eric Huntsman, a professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University who has written about the topic, sheds light on LDS yuletide conventions and shares touching personal stories about how his family “does Christmas” in this special holiday edition of “Mormon Land.”
