‘Mormon Land’: Scholars Fiona and Terryl Givens explore theology and discover modern Latter-day Saints may not fully understand the Christ they worship

It turns out that some of Mormonism’s deepest theology can be traced back before founder Joseph Smith’s time to early Christian thinkers, and even Latter-day Saints may have to relearn their views of the God they worship.

So argue scholars Fiona and Terryl Givens as they discuss their new book, “The Christ Who Heals,” with Salt Lake Tribune senior religion reporter Peggy Fletcher Stack and managing editor David Noyce in the latest edition of “Mormon Land.”
