Can’t keep track of where all of Utah’s LDS temples are — or will be? This map will help.

There will be 26 in the Beehive State — so far.

Hey, it’s not easy — even for those paid to know — to remember where all of Utah’s Latter-day Saint temples are or will be built, especially when plans for new ones keep popping up every six months.

Right now, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has 15 operating temples in the Beehive State. Two pioneer-era temples are undergoing renovation (the other two soon will as well). Nine others are in the works, including the Smithfield Temple announced Sunday by church President Russell M. Nelson.

That brings the total to 26.

So, with cursor in hand, take a tour of Utah and see where temples are now — or will be in the months and years ahead. But be prepared. This map and your memory may need updating again in six months.
