Steve Peck believes in evolution, studies evolution, teaches evolution.
He also believes in Mormonism, studies it and no doubt preaches it.
There need not be any conflict between the two, insists Peck, a writer and scientist who teaches evolutionary biology at LDS Church-owned Brigham Young University. In fact, in the latest edition of “Mormon Land,” he wonders why not all Latter-day Saints believe in both and discusses why they should.
