Letter: I do pray for Trump. To go away.

(Alex Brandon | AP) President Donald Trump pauses before speaking during a ceremony to present the Presidential Medal of Freedom to former Attorney General Edwin Meese, in the Oval Office of the White House, Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019, in Washington.

Ryan Hallstrom, in the Oct. 8 letters to the editor, asked us all to pray for Donald Trump.

I will. In fact, I already do. I pray daily that this president will not be reelected, that our elected officials and the entire country will find their missing moral compass and save our democracy by removing him from office.

I pray that Utahns will remember who they are and reject this moral degenerate.

I pray that this man who has lied to our faces everyday, a grifter, an adulterer, a man who torches our Constitution to ingratiate himself to our foreign enemies will forever be removed from our view, and go away to prison for treason against this country.

Oh, yes, Ryan, I will pray.
