Letter: The Legislature’s message to the Utah Supreme court is clear
(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) State representatives work on the House floor at the Utah Capitol on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026.
The Legislature’s message to the Utah Supreme Court is clearly as follows:
We will pass the laws. You will rule in our favor.
If you don’t, we will claim you are incompetent, exercising judicial overreach, and have you easily removed and replaced. Is that understood?
