Letter: Hey, Utah lawmakers: Speaking out against Trump’s Greenland land grab should be a no-brainer

Like the secretary general of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, I never thought I would have to write a letter like this.

The president of the United States has decided that he can’t peacefully take over Greenland because he was not awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Whether it’s peaceful or forceful, makes no difference. Greenland is not for the taking! Wouldn’t all of us want to hear from our senators and our representatives that Trump’s threats to Greenland are crazy and they will do everything within their power to stop him?

I don’t understand the silence from Utah’s elected leaders on many issues regarding Trump, but this is an easy one. Speak up and put a stop to this craziness.

And while you are at it, let’s get the Epstein files released and get ICE out of our cities.
