To Sens. Curtis and Lee:
When the Epstein Files Transparency Act comes up for a vote in the Senate, I expect you to demonstrate that you have a working moral compass and vote for approval.
The act contains abundant safeguards to protect victims’ personally identifiable information — so claiming that you oppose the act out of concern for the victims’ privacy will be instantly and universally understood as a bogus excuse.
The choice that will soon be before you could not be more clear: Accountability, honesty and a commitment to protect children from sexual predators, or craven servitude to an adjudicated sexual predator solely for political gain.
Do the right thing.
