Letter: That Trump is anti-antifa and pro-monarchy is beyond question. But what about his enablers?

(Bethany Baker | The Salt Lake Tribune) Counterprotestors surround their vehicles as protesters engage with them during a "No Kings" rally at the Utah Capitol in Salt Lake City on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025.

Trump and his minions are trying to create a bogeyman out of antifa, claiming that it is some sort of well-organized, Soros-funded group that is fighting against America. But antifa is simply shorthand for antifascist.

My dad went to Europe in 1944 to fight the Nazis, so I suppose he was antifa.

But the Republican Party today is vehemently anti-antifa, which makes them, well, pro-fascist. Their own words prove this.

After the No Kings protests on Oct. 18, Trump posted AI images of himself in kingly robes and a crown. So he is not just pro-fascist; he is pro-monarchy, as long as he can be the monarch.

He has never understood America, its Constitution, or its history.

But my question is why Mike Lee, John Curtis, Blake Moore, Celeste Maloy, Mike Kennedy, and Burgess Owens are so willfully supportive of this outrageously un-American wannabe dictator.
