Letter: In what free country is this kind of behavior of officials and citizens acceptable?

For some inexplicable reason that, even if it was explained would be unacceptable, ICE agents continue to sweep up unsuspecting people while not wearing official uniforms that would identify themselves and still not identifying themselves when asked.

In what free country is this kind of behavior of government officials acceptable?

There is another interesting aspect to this situation, as well. ICE agents can appear just like any of the rest of us while grabbing, pinning to the ground, and otherwise browbeating their victims. To a “good guy with a gun” this can look like criminal activity at work, and require his armed intervention.

In what free country is an armed citizen confronting a government official acceptable?

The answer to both questions is, “None.”
