Letter: It’s astounding how Trump can undo a good thing in no time

Both President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance spoke at Arlington National Cemetery this past Memorial Day paying tribute to our fallen service members. Trump also placed a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This happens most Memorial Days.

However, before doing so, President Trump began with an all-caps social media post that attacked his predecessor, President Joe Biden, calling him “scum” who spent the last four years trying to destroy the country and calling federal judges who have blocked his deportation initiatives “monsters” who want our country to go to hell.

It amazes me how one person like “old bone spurs” can undo a good thing with his name calling and rants in no time.
