Soon to be followed by other retailers, we can imagine. It couldn’t be that our fearless leader has hit us all with a regressive national sales tax (tariffs), while at the same time claiming to cut taxes (for the wealthy).
This is a world-class bait and switch. “Hurray!” say his followers. Enjoy your $40 guacamole.
“Don’t worry,” say those who oppose. He’s a lame duck. In four years he’ll be gone.
