I think “Sideways” may have been my favorite Sundance movie. Or maybe “Little Miss Sunshine,” or the documentary short about honor killings.
I’d be willing to wager every member of the Utah Legislature has seen a Sundance movie. Now Sundance is leaving. The powers that be in Utah have made it very clear they think movie people are moral degenerates. Non-LDS movies (gasp)! You know, you just can’t say that to people and expect them to stay around … and spend their money.
Boulder is a very cool place and will be a great new home for the film festival. The Legislature will most certainly miss what they really care about — the money. Spencer Cox, your thoughts?
Nice job everybody.
