Letter: Who is it now that — in JD Vance’s words — has no stake in the future?

It’s rather laughable to consider, as suggested by vice presidential candidate JD Vance, that childless-female-cat-people have no stake in the future, because evangelical-Jesus-people, like Vance and the Project 2025 folk, have no real stake in the future as well.

The evangelical-Jesus-people literally believe: Jesus is gonna return with a heavenly host of angels, rapture them all away, destroy the planet, and rebuild a new heaven and earth. It’s all right there in the Bible, in the Book of Revelations. Read up!

So what is their stake in the future? Just curious.

Thankfully, I’m a childless-male-dog-person — so I do have a stake in the future — I think.
