Letter: We’d be better off if there was a maximum age limit for presidential candidates

(The New York Times) Former President Donald Trump, left, and President Joe Biden.

This upcoming election is going to be a circus. Personally, I’m dreading it. I think we could solve a lot of problems if the U.S. enacted an age limit for every presidential candidate.

Currently, candidates must be at least 35 years old to run for president, so the minimal age is already set. Why not set a maximum age limit of 75 years old for potential candidates.

If that was in place right now, it would solve a lot of our current political issues.
