It is so predictable that after he is reelected Mike Lee once again wanders into wonderland.
First, he is now God and declares that people who attended Burning Man were being punished for doing so. Now he, a member of the strong defense party, says that we ought to defund the military because they are paying people to travel for medical procedures.
I guess this would be his solution to balance the budget in a hurry.
So we should not allow persons in the military to receive an abortion if they are stationed in a state that does not allow abortions? So Utah should prevent those who volunteered to defend us from receiving medical care even if they are from a state that allows it?
Sounds like Lee is attempting to divide our forces into the haves and have nots and maybe advocating closures of anti-abortion state military facilities.
Congratulations, Utah, you once again reelected someone who only listens to you once every six years.
