Now that the Legislature has departed after following other far-right states in taking reproductive rights away from women, I swear there has been a proliferation of erectile dysfunction ads, the most unpleasant of which are the ads for Peyronie’s disease.
Lawmakers are busy trying to ban a pill women have used for 20 years for early abortion purposes. But by all means, men should not be deprived of treatments to restore their virility in order to improve the quality of their lives. And as Robin Hough stated in her recent letter to the editor, a ten-year study showed that less than 10% of the men who caused a pregnancy wanted the woman to have the baby. This would be particularly true with older men having their virility restored after they already have a family and have no desire for more children.
I googled treatment for Peyronie’s disease and found eight (that’s right, eight) types of treatment. (1) medications, (2) penile traction therapy, (3) injections, (4) penile modeling frequency, (5) at-home penile modeling, (6) penile plication, (7) penile grafting and (8) penile implant.
Yes, let’s get more men with renewed virility out there impregnating women. It’s gotten so bad even my mares won’t eat a bent carrot.
