Gordon Monson’s front page article promoting the NBA All Star game and its associated events was trying to paint a positive picture on an elitist happening.
Gordon, how much would it have cost to buy equivalent seats and entries to all of the games and events you are able to attend for free as a member of the press? If you didn’t have a press pass and were a sports fan, would you have spent your own money for those tickets, much less for family members to attend with you?
As a sports fan with a family, the ticket pricing for this year’s All Star events was outrageous and far beyond any value these events would provide.
The view from the free seats is always great!
