Well, here we go again. Congress will discuss, debate and blabalanch about gun violence. Nothing will happen.
The folks that we voted to represent us have an obligation to protect their real constituents, their financial partners, their lobbyists. Don’t expect bipartisan agreement to do anything with guns.
Senseless mass killings will continue in this country as long as the spineless representatives that we elected choose greed over substantive gun management legislation. This systemic problem of greed-based representation can be reversed, but doing so will take a generation of thoughtful, honest, caring voters who elect congressional representatives that mirror their values.
