It is so disgusting to see Sen. Mike Lee using COVID vaccinations for political gain.
The military is expected to be ready to deploy anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice. COVID shots take two weeks to reach maximum effectiveness. We cannot wait that long in an emergency.
If Lee had ever served he would know vaccinations are an expected price of serving. Some of us received many vaccinations in basic training without even a clue as to what they were or for. Making this political affects combat readiness and he should stay out of it since he is ignorant as to mission requirements.
