Letter: Trump’s attacks on the Constitution got me flummoxed, Sen. Lee. Please advise.

(Andrew Harnik | AP) Former President Donald Trump waves after announcing he is running for president for the third time at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla., Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022.

Dear Mr. Constitution aka Sen. Mike Lee,

As you are considered the preeminent expert of the Constitution in the state of Utah, and probably in the whole country, I have been waiting for your remarks on a recent comment by Donald Trump. You may have heard the former president asked for the “termination of the Constitution.” Is this something I should support? Please tell me what to say, as this does seem to be unconstitutional, but I know only you can interpret the Constitution the way the framers intended it to be. I only know that this will end badly for Trump unless we have the Constitution on our side, and only you, Senator Lee, can make that happen. In the meantime I will be working 14 hours a day to assist you in this matter. Awaiting your insight.
