Instead of throwing more money at widening the road in Mill Creek Canyon, take a small portion of the exorbitant amount proposed, and expand a parking area and shuttle system.
It seems that every time someone wants to “improve” our canyons, it involves widening a road and thereby allowing more traffic, more pollution, and further degrading our beautiful mountain experience.
Yes, we have more people in our state, but we shouldn’t ruin our canyons in the process of allowing this increase to enjoy what we have.
