Letter: Armed forces could be employed to help break supply chain bottleneck

I have a solution to the backlog of ships impacting the supply chain.

For the first time in 20 years we are not at war.

President Biden should move to activate and assign the military and the National Guard to assist in breaking this bottleneck.

The military has cranes and operators, tractor trailers, trucks of various sizes and cargo transport planes.

I have been told the longshoreman’s union would oppose this.

My opinion on that is there is plenty for them to do and it won’t affect their jobs.

I really think this will help
