Letter: Selective examination won’t do it, Gov. Cox

(Rick Egan | The Salt Lake Tribune) Gov. Spencer Cox answers questions during the Governor's Covid-19 briefing, at the Utah Capitol on Thursday, July 1, 2021.

On July 15, Gov. Cox felt the need to excoriate various right wing media outlets for their dangerous practice of discouraging people from getting vaccinated to save their lives as well as to otherwise benefit society.

My experience tells me that prevaricators and poltroons are not usually selective in their efforts to mislead and confound people for ulterior reasons.

Perhaps the governor and his Republican friends would be well advised to evaluate the other “facts” and opinions these media outlets broadcast with the same level of critical analysis.
