Letter: Follow LDS president’s example: Get vaccinated
(Photo courtesy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) Church President Russell M. Nelson receives the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, in Salt Lake City.
This letter is for everyone who has common sense and/or consideration for others, but specifically to my fellow members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A while ago, the newspapers published a photo of LDS President Russell M. Nelson getting his COVID-19 vaccination. Please follow the example of our beloved President Nelson, who is showing us by example what the Lord would have us do.
Those who have not been vaccinated account for 98% of deaths and 97% of hospitalizations from COVID-19.
Please follow the counsel given to us by our beloved prophet, who was put on the earth to help us in our mortal sojourn if we will just listen to him and follow his example. He will never lead us astray. So, if you are not vaccinated for COVID-19, please make an appointment this week to do so. Your life and the life of your family and friends will be blessed.
