Letter: Murdoch’s early vaccination drives home the extent of Fox News’ hypocrisy

Rupert Murdoch, the 89 year old Australian media mogul and executive chairman of Fox News, received the COVID-19 vaccine on Dec. 18 through the U.K.’s national health service.

Let’s think about this.

The first COVID-19 vaccine administered in the U.S. was on December 14. Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingram and the rest of the Fox News team have downplayed this virus from the very beginning. They questioned the requirement to wear masks, and even now continue to spread disinformation about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines.

Hypocrisy at its very best but this is what Fox News does. The boring truth will not retain their cult-like following, attract new viewers but of utmost importance, increase advertising revenue. Throw in a conspiracy or two, find a few “experts” to collaborate, and they will find a way to take it to the bank.
