But there is a simple explanation. It is like the rich man who pays a fortune for a painting by one of the great masters. But then, upon learning that it’s a fake, he’s embarrassed and completely unwilling to admit the stupidity of his original investment.
Such is the logic behind the unwavering devotion to Donald J. Trump.
