Letter: Despite Twitter ban, Trump can still speak freely

Much is being said about the closing of President Trump’s Twitter account. Many of his followers think that is an infringement on his freedom of speech. President Trump still has the world’s largest megaphone. There isn’t a journalist anywhere in the world who would refuse an invitation to a news conference called by the president of the United States. However, these journalists would fact check his remarks. He can still speak freely. He just can’t lie with impunity. That’s what was taken away by the closing of his Twitter account.
