Letter: Don’t overlook the virus

(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) Registered nurse for Davis County Paula Johnson prepares the Pfizer vaccine as the Davis County School District begins COVID-19 vaccinations for its teachers at the Davis County Legacy Center in Farmington on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021.

It seems that the people of this country are forgetting the most important thing now happening in our world. The plague called COVID-19.

As people run around hating each other, playing with guns and threatening anyone who does not agree with them, what are they doing for the threat of COVID-?  If all these people took their money, time, energy and support towards stopping COVID-19, we might win the battle against this terrible plague.  Yet, some people can not even be convinced that a mask could save their life.

I hope when you are all done playing “Rambo” for a totally evil man, there are people, children, and babies left to provide future generations of people for our planet. COVID-19 is real and it is coming for all of us. We hope to God you know how to pray.

Larry and Linda McCombe, Salt Lake City
