After every court including the Supreme Court twice rejected Donald Trump’s attempt to overthrow the election results, I was reminded of line in a poem written by Hafez, the beloved Persian poet: “Did you see the cackling, strutting partridge that was ignorant of the talon of the falcon of destiny?”
