Letter: Trump doesn’t deserve the vitriol

(CBSNews/60 MINUTES via AP) President Donald Trump speaks during an interview conducted by Lesley Stahl in the White House, Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020.

It amazes me, the hatred and vitriol in your paper by the public and your editorial staff toward one man: President Donald Trump.

Too many have forgotten the three-plus years of low unemployment, lower poverty rates, more money in your paychecks, criminal justice reform, companies moving back to America, energy independence, trade agreements with China and Vietnam of $262 billion, and other accomplishments not listed; and last, but certainly not the least, peace in the Middle East; all while a corrupt, four-year witch hunt of unimaginable size was taking place against this man which proved nothing, except it was a waste of time and treasure.

OK, he does not act as presidentially as you think he should. He does not register highly on your social register.

That does not “out-Trump” his accomplishments.

Please, return back to “only” reporting the news, not airing your biases.

Kenneth L. Bond, Sandy
