Letter: A pledge to the Utah state flag

In addition to the Pledge of Allegiance to the U.S. flag, several states have an official state flag pledge or salute. Here is a proposal for Utah to mark its 125th anniversary of statehood on Jan. 4, 2021:

“To honor and celebrate America’s Beehive State, for pioneers and industry, the flag of Utah I salute proudly.”
