Letter: What ‘herd immunity’ will do to me
(Rick Egan | The Salt Lake Tribune). Sign on a store in downtown Salt Lake City, Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020.
In response to Iron County Sheriff Ken Carpenter’s statements on defying statewide order on masks and social distancing, he says the virus will be conquered through herd immunity.
Just what does herd immunity mean? Well, to start with, it means culling by selective slaughter of the weak or afflicted. As a senior citizen with congestive heart failure that would include me.
