Having done my civic duty and watched the recent presidential debate, I have a simple suggestion to make the next two debates at least more watchable, if not actually productive.
Donald Trump believes he is still on a game show. So let’s use game show technology from the past. Put them both in sound-proof booths. If the question is for Joe Biden, turn off Trump’s mic and watch him flail and silently rage and curse. If the question is for Trump, turn off Biden’s mic and watch him laugh.
And let’s employ more game show technology while we’re at it. When one of them lies, have a black duck come down on a rope with a cream pie and rub their face in it.
