Letter: Utah deserves better than Mike Lee

I wrote to Sen. Mike Lee, asking him not to let the president delay November’s election. In response I got a form letter that said: “Election processes are an issue best handled at the state and local level by the people who are most affected by them, not by unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats in Washington D.C.”

Which sounds good, but makes me think the senator (or at least the person writing his form letter) doesn’t know that the date of the election is mandated by federal statute.

Utah really deserves better.
