You cannot demand the respect you do not show. Looting and vandalism do nothing for your cause, only spread the anger and hate deeper. Rise above. Face your adversary and prove your worth, even though you shouldn’t have to, but realizing you will because your adversary wallows in a cult of ignorance, bigotry, and disinformation.
A cult that is further led by a leader who lacks the values of leadership that are instilled in second grade students.
True leaders lead by example, not by chauvinistic despotism, as “illiberal populists” who reject the wisdom of experts and scientists, instead promoting their own egomaniacal conspiracy theories. Show mercy upon this cult of anti-intellectualism. Do not become one of them.
