When I think of all the people that are taking a risk at this time, it baffles me that preschool and day care teachers are not mentioned. Children will be dropped off then walk 6 feet from their mothers’ and fathers’ arms into the arms of these brave teachers. They do it without reticence and a smile from ear to ear. These brave teachers make it so health care workers with children are able to perform the amazing work that they do. I do not want to minimize any other brave people during this time, but it is time that Utah realized that the preschools and day cares that remained open are providing an extremely important service. So when you consider the heros bravely doing their jobs, please include these wonderful people.
