Letter: Doctors should speak out against Trump’s lies
(Alex Brandon | AP file photo) President Donald Trump watches as Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, speaks about the coronavirus in the James Brady Press Briefing Room of the White House in Washington on April 22, 2020.
Donald Trump’s speech on cures and prevention for COVID-19 shows what a reckless and dangerous person he really is.
Any medical professional on the White House staff who does not speak out against Trump's lies and misinformation on COVID-19 or any other medical matter should be fired, have their licence to practice medicine revoked and barred from the medical profession.
The fact that they are willing to stay silent, and put peoples lives at risk all to preserve Trump’s fragile ego shows that they are far too incompetent to work in the field.
