Letter: Restaurants must make masks a must

(Bilal Hussein | AP file photo) Syrian Sami Jawabreh wears a mask and gloves, as he rearranges fruits on display for sale at his shop, in Beirut, Lebanon, Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

Recently learning that none of the food handlers at one of my fave restaurants wore a face mask, I did an about-face on ordering a takeout dinner from there.

I strongly urge restaurant owners to show common sense and require all their employees to wear a face mask.

This could both ease the customer’s mind and arguably increase the volume of takeout orders. Win-win.
